Hey you know i was going to share with you lessons from my book but i changed my mind. Instead let me share with you a portion of something i learnt that really got me. Its about the battle in our minds. Hope you learn something as well.
Sometimes when we get a word from God-rhema- and we're all excited about it but then within an hour or two, then its gone. One reason is because the word does not find any roots in our minds (parable of the sower). But why does this really happen?
Observe:
God speaks to our spirit and what he speaks is supposed to influence our minds (renewal). Also in other for you to work with something, your soul must absorb whatever it is. So when you receive the rhema, it goes into your mind but due to the junk the devil has sown in your mind,(because you didnt resist him) he starts pointing them out to you, then you start feeling that you are not good enough, forgetting that the devil is a LIAR. The word therefore doesn't find any root and its pushed out.
The mind therefore goes through a constant battle. The winner of this battle though, depends on who YOU ALLOW TO INFLUENCE YOUR MIND.
The mind is a very powerful tool.
